5 Top Tips To Read Before Your Wax

1) Exfoliate – Exfoliating before waxing keeps the dead skin cells at bay, and it allows hairs to break through the surface allowing a really thorough removal of hair.
2) Don’t shave! Sounds obvious but you need at least a quarter of an inch of growth to make a wax worth it.
3) Avoid caffeine. Avoiding stimulants (that induce the circulation of blood) such as alcohol, caffeine and exercise from 24hrs onwards before your appointment can help reduce the pain.
4) Take a painkiller. If you have a low pain threshold it can help to take a paracetamol about 45 minutes before your wax.
5) Follow Aftercare Advice. No hot showers/swimming/spray tans for 24hrs after a wax. And in between waxes; moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!
